do you know how badly i want to punch the air??? i have been trying to get microlocs since February. i have actually had 1.5 installs using the twist method an took them out when they did not look the way i wanted them to. im trying to go for sisterlocs with out the interlocking the whole head look, only to watch this video and find out what i need is braidlocs not twistlocs. I love you for that comment thank you!!!!

Thank you for sharing; I'm going to attempt to do this style on my granddaugther's hair.

This is why I got mine reinstalled as braidlocs. My microlocs kept slipping and it was beyond annoying. Haven’t had those issues with my braidlocs.

I didn't catch is it starting as a 3 part braid or is it a full twist all the way down? Her work is amazing, I'm going to lock my hair this fall so they can be ready for the summer!

Wait a min. 😮 Are you saying the crochet repairs are done to prevent microloc extensions from falling out altogether? Or does slippage mean something else? (I have extensions and always lose a few between reties. My old person used to just replace them. My new stylist doesn't replace my lil fallen soldiers! 😂 Now i want to learn how to replace them myself. Even with slippage or extensions coming off, I love my microlocs. 💜
